Ritu and I session

Have I mentioned that Ritu is my favourite person to play music with, among all the people I have worked with? Well, now you know. She brings an effervescence to songs that is totally incredible. And occasionally, our voices go together pretty decently as well. That is a big deal for me since I sound like shit alongside most vocalists – my voice is not cut out for collaborations, but she is the one exception.

We did 3 covers in one day, which is a unexpectedly bountiful because we get sidetracked so easily, and given that she had a guitar as well means double the digression.

A one shot cover that Ritu and I did because she wanted to gift it to someone ^_^

I forced Ritu to see this movie, because not only did I feel that she will relate to Kiera Knightley’s portrayal of a musician, but that she would also love the songs and would want to cover. As usual, I was right :3

This was one of the earliest covers we had planned to do together, back when we first started jamming together. It took long to get here, but it was totally worth it. She’s done most of the work here, and I’ve just backed her up with riffs and the occasional vocal harmony.
